My name is Ben Gifford,
I’m a designer, and have been practicing professionally for over 15 years. I’ve had the joy of working with fantastic people, and for wonderful customers, across those years.
Design is a love language, so to speak. It’s a way of showing people they matter to you, that you care about them. Just like your mom making you cookies, she didn’t have to—you didn’t require or expect that of her—but she did, because you matter to her. It’s like that.
We care about our customers not because we have to, but because we want to. I design because people matter to me.
My grandfather grew up on a farm and made his own tools. He was the king of resourcefulness and adaptability. You’ll find the same of me, a resourceful problem-solver and builder to my core. Good enough and now will always trump better but later.
I’m a rower, tinkerer, biscotti-baker, radio-phile, husband, father.
My current obsession is writing and storytelling.
